Swine Flu Increase

As swine flu case increase in the UK thermometer demand has gradually increase with most retailers already runnning out of thermometers. Currently we have a large stock of Omron I-Temp thermometer and I-Temp Mini as well as the Braun Thermoscan IRT-4520. Please order well in advance to avoid dissapointment as demand is till high and is anticipated to be higher over the winter months.

A temperature above 38°C/100.4°F is a primary diagnostic tool used by most patients to confirm swine flu hance the increase in demand.

The typical symptoms are:
a sudden fever (a high body temperature of 38°C/100.4°F or above), and
a sudden cough.
Other symptoms may include:

  • headache,
  • tiredness, 
  • chills,
  • aching muscles,
  • limb or joint pain,
  • diarrhoea or stomach upset,
  • sore throat,
  • runny nose,
  • sneezing, or
  • loss of appetite
